The Swiss Red Cross Gala was first held in Geneva. It has since become an important source of funding for for national and international programmes of the Swiss and Geneva Red Cross societies supporting people in need.
A joint event organized by the Swiss Red Cross and the Geneva Red Cross, the Red Cross Ball is held each year in Henri Dunant’s home town. It is attended by around 500 Swiss and international celebrities each committed to raising funds to help the most disadvantaged sectors of the world’s population. It is a unique opportunity for all those attending the gala to actively support the Red Cross Movement’s missions and campaigns.
Humanitarian projects, travel, prestigious brands, artworks, choose from the many different items auctioned off at the 2018 Ball, with Simon Kidston and Hughes Edmeades from Christie’s at the gavel. The proceeds will go exclusively towards supporting Red Cross programmes.
An iPad is made available to guests so that they can discreetly take part in a silent auction. The proceeds will go exclusively towards supporting Red Cross programmes.
